About Myself
Hi friends! My name is Sofia Papoutsakis, the founder of Sofia's Journal Shop. I initiated this brand with one intention, to support people through their everyday struggles of mental health, self care, organizational habits, etc. By incorporating love, kindness, and positivity into every order I have been able to change the lives of so many special people! I have gotten overly joyful from all the amazing stories my followers have shared after using my products.

I began Mental Health Journaling 3 years ago when my father was first diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. What I am about to talk about may be a sensitive subject for most, but I was struggling with Anxiety, Depression, and battling an ED. I was at my lowest point in life and felt as if I had to bottle everything inside because of what my family was going through. The day I began journaling was the day I filmed my very first Tiktok, I had no idea how my life would change! Those of you who have been here since the beginning would know that I wasn't the best at designing back then, but with practice I have been able to create incredible pages that help so many different people! I have also been able to better my mental health while also helping others with their struggles.

Growing up I always told my mom "one day I want my job to be helping people, but I don't know what that job will be." Right before I took my business full time I had to make the decision whether or not to start my first year of college. I decided to take a risk and not get my Elementary Education Degree. This decision changed my life and brought forth so many blessings. Now I get to help customers every day and I couldn't be more happy!

Lastly I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has made this all possible. The biggest thank you goes to God because without Him none of this would be possible. My faith is very important to me and everything I do is for the glory of God. I am so happy that I get to share my passion of journaling, stationary, and organization with so many of you!
